How to fix a “Misrepresentation” suspension in Google Merchant Center
Misrepresentation is Google’s way of saying: “we don’t trust this store yet.” It rarely points to one single problem. Instead, it’s a combination of missing trust signals, unclear policies and data that doesn’t match.
1. Make your business identity obvious
Add a real contact page with an email, phone number and physical address. Your About page should explain who runs the store and why.
2. Write clear policies
Refund, return and shipping policies must be specific: time frames, costs and conditions. Generic templates are a red flag.
3. Match everything
Prices, stock, shipping costs and business details must match across your site, your feed and your Merchant Center settings.
4. Request a review only when you’re ready
Each rejected review can extend the cool-down period. Fix everything first — or let us do it for you.
